Jay joined Lars Jorgenson (left), Pres. of Gate to Plate Food Services, and then Agriculture Minister Chuck Strahl at the official opening of B.C.'s first mobile abattoir on Jan. 19th, 07. The mobile facility will help address the lack of slaughterhouses in the Peace Region and contain the spread of possible diseases.
